Who We Are

Meet Michelle Matheny and learn more about her vision of health & fitness

I have over 20 years of experience in rehabilitative exercise and fitness. For the first 14 years, I was a traditional certified athletic trainer - I worked in the Olympic, collegiate, and high school athletics settings, assessing, treating and rehabilitating injuries for athletes of all types.

Since 2015, my career has taken a less traditional, but much more interesting route. I dove into my first personal training job in 2016 and found that my favorite clients were the ones coming to me with chronic pain or injury, and the super-fit ones driven to sharpen their skills just a little bit more. Both of those populations fit right in with my athletic training background, just with a little twist.

This transition into fitness has taken me through two more amazing jobs, each teaching me about different areas that I was not previously experienced in (post-PT chronic disease patients, aging population, and prenatal/postpartum women). Everything I've learned, in all my stops along the way, has given me the confidence to take this giant leap of faith.

I am beyond excited to present to you, my newest venture! A place where people of all fitness levels can come to get expert, specialized exercise programs that will restore them to the strength and activities that they desire most!

Oh yeah, and a little about me personally…

I am a wife to my amazingly supportive husband and a mother to my three beautiful girls. They are my world, my biggest job and greatest reward all in one. My journey through motherhood has changed me physically and mentally, re-shaped my priorities, and re-directed my passions. Being a mom is a huge part of where I am with myself today!

Our family motto is “home is wherever we are together”, because military life has taken us many places! It has also given me many opportunities to see new cultures and experiences, to explore professionally, and to practice my resilience and ingenuity. I would not be on this adventure without the love and support of my family, and I know that I am blessed.
